Degree Tab (Review Internet Submission Window)

If the Submission Type is Personal Info Update (520) or Student Request (530), this tab on the Review Internet Submission window may be displayed even if no data is submitted for the DEGREE_HISTORY mapping table. If available, this tab contains the same information as the Degree tab on the Student Information window in the Registration module and is used to review any submission data that needs to be saved to the Degree History table in the J1 database.

The submitted key values (ID Number, Sequence Number, Current Degree, Division Code, Degree Code, and Academic Degree Code) are displayed in a grid above the existing Degree History tree view, which will allow the user to determine if the submitted information is an update to an existing row or if it should be considered a new Degree History row. Depending on the data submitted, some of the columns in the Submitted Information may be empty. You can associate the submitted data with an existing row, compare the data and save the desired data to that row, or you can create a new row. Any Degree History-related data that is submitted (including user-defined data) will be associated with the selected existing or new row. However, unless you have security permission to do so, you cannot update a Degree row that has been locked.

If there are differences between the J1 database and submission information, a sunburst icon () is displayed next to the Degree tab label. When you click on a submitted Degree History row, submitted values are displayed in the detail pane. When you click on an existing Degree History row in the tree view, the current database values are displayed in the detail pane.

If you delete a newly created Degree History row before saving the new row, the row and the sunburst icon is removed from the tree view and any CUR_DEGREE values that were changed for existing Degree History rows are reset to their original database values.

You can also provide and read feedback for each graduation stage and each leave of absence.
