Graduation Report

The Graduation Report displays a list of requirements and the courses that have been taken in order to satisfy each requirement along with grades and quality points. It provides a list of completed and pending requirements and is used to display a student's progress toward meeting graduation requirements.

Advisors have access only to their students' information. Also, in order to generate the Graduation Report for a student, that student must have an Advisor/Student relationship.

Selection Criteria

 

The Grade to Print and Repeat Grade to Print columns in Grade Table are used in the Graduation Report and Student Course Needs Letter in Advising and also the Grade Report and Transcript 2000 in Registration. If these columns do not contain a value, then the Grade Code column in the Grade Table is used.

The following options determine the type of information that is generated in the Graduation Report:

To customize the original report, click the Customize button. If you customize this report, it is mandatory that you honor the naming convention. If you customize the r_grad_rpt, then the new report's name must begin with r_grad_rpt. If the customized report is not named according to this rule, it may not appear as an option in the Reports drop-down list box.

Retrieved

The Retrieved group box allows you to retrieve the results of the query using the selection criteria indicated. When you click the Retrieve button, the grid is populated with students (if any) who match the selection criteria. You can select (highlight) an individual row or many rows to move to the Selected group box for processing. Only the rows that appear in the Selected group box are included in the query. If you specify criteria but do not click the Retrieve and Move to Selected buttons, the recalculation includes all students who meet the selected criteria.

Selected

Only the rows that appear in the Selected group box are included when the Graduation Report is generated. If you specify criteria but do not click the Retrieve and Move to Selected buttons, the recalculation includes all students who meet the selected criteria.

To move the students selected in the Retrieved group box to the Selected group box, click the Move to Selected button. If you want to remove one or more of the student rows, select (highlight) the appropriate rows and click Delete Selected Row. If you want to delete all student rows, click Delete All (you do not have to select rows).

Click the Preview radio button to view the report before printing. Click the Immediate button to send the report to the selected printer.
