Create Student Update Configuration Window

The Create Student Update Configuration window allows you to control which specific student data elements are transferred to JFA using the Create Student Update process. You can turn off or on certain tags sent in the Student Data Load (Academic Extract) API to narrow down what data is sent each time you run the Create Student Update process.

Columns

The Description tells you what specific tag or tag set you are working with within the Student Data Load (Academic Extract) API. You can’t edit this column.

Use the Action drop-down to select the Send or Don’t Send controls to designate what data tag should be sent.

Buttons

Click the OK button to save your changes and update the stored procedure for running the Create Student Update process. When you run Create Student Update, the selected data will send or not send based on your updates.

Click Cancel to discard any edits you made on the window and return to the Create Student Update for Financial Aid window.

How To

Select student data settings on the Create Student Update for Financial Aid window.
Click Configure to open the Create Student Update Configuration window.
Locate the data you want to configure sending options for in the Description section.
In the Control drop-down,

To transfer the data through the Create Student Update process, select SENDDATA.

To not include the data in the Create Student Update process, select DONTSEND.

Click OK to save your changes and return to the Create Student Update for Financial Aid window.

FAQ

As of 2021.2, only Housing Type and Ability to Benefit tags are configurable. In future releases, you will be able to work with more tags.
