Working with Taxes

You must have the appropriate permissions to access this window. For more information, contact your module manager or system administrator.

Use this window or tab to record taxes to be withheld for each employee. For Old Age Disability and Medicare, select the status for Fringe Status and Tax Status to decide how the employer and employee portions of the taxes are withheld. For other taxes being withheld,  enter each tax withheld from the employee's pay along with their filing status, number of exemptions, any additional withholding amounts, etc.

Prior to adding a tax row for an employee, tax codes on the Tax Definition and Control tables should be defined.

If you want to change the taxes for one Pay Run only, you should use the Separate Timecard feature on the Long Timecard Entry tab rather than for the employee within their position.
