An account number has the following four components:
· Fund
· Sub-fund
· Department
· Object
Use this window to set up budget information on a component level, as opposed to setting up a budget for an individual account.

If the Department component is selected in the Budget Left to Right Through Component column on the G/L Configuration window, you can set up one budget for each department instead of one budget for each account within the department. Supporting Information is a right-click option selected from one of the budget columns.

The Budget Left to Right Through Component column must be defined on the General Configuration window in order for the Budget Control window to be accessible. |
