You can use the Change Invoice window to change Invoice Header information after an invoice has been posted, but you cannot change Detail information using this window. This window also does not allow you to reverse or void an invoice or change the amount of the invoice. Items you can change are the Invoice Dates, Vendor's ID Number and Address, Subsidiary Code, and Reference Number.
A common use of this feature is if you want to prevent an invoice from being combined with another invoice into a check for the same vendor in the next check run, you can change the Check Group Number column on an invoice. Another common use is to change the Invoice Payable Date for the invoice so that it is paid in a later check run.
