Once the Jenzabar Web Application Service is started, the service will wait one minute and then attempt to transfer data to campus portal (JICS). After the first time the service transfers data, it will attempt more transfers at the time interval you set in the post_interval field. If the transfer to campus portal (JICS) encounters any errors, those errors will be logged on the Application Log in the campus portal (JICS) Web server’s event viewer. Jenzabar strongly advises you to regularly check the Event Log on the campus portal (JICS) Web server for any errors that may occur.

If the current time is not between the api_time_begin and api_time_end values, the transfer process will not occur. This provides you with a way to suspend the transfer process during a database backup or other expected down times. If the api_time_begin and api_time_end values are 00:00, the transfer process will continue to run at post_interval without interruption. |
