Calculation of PT/FT Hours Enrolled

The PT/FT hours enrolled is used to determine the PT/FT status. In some organizations, certain courses do not contribute to the determination of this status.

There are two ways you can exclude courses from the PT/FT hours enrolled total in Registration:

·       Count only the student courses that match the student's Current Division on the Student Master row. The Calculate FT/PT Using Only Current Student Division checkbox on the Registration Configuration window determines whether to limit the PT/FT hours enrolled total to courses in the student's current division. This flag only filters the PT/FT hours enrolled totals on the Student Master table and the Student Term Summary table. It does not affect the PT/FT hours enrolled total on the Student Term Summary by Division.

Your organization decides that only courses in the student's division are included in the PT/FT hours enrolled total. The flag on the Registration Configuration window is used to limit the PT/FT calculation to the current student division.

·       Specify credit types and/or grade definitions (such as audited courses) that should be excluded from the PT/FT hours enrolled total. The Credit Type Definition and Grade Definition tables allow you to specify exclusions from the PT/FT hours enrolled total.
