This number of credit hours per POE functions as thresholds or boundaries that, if crossed because of a change in registered credit hours, causes a student to appear on the Drop/Add Report. These boundaries create ranges of hours into which students are grouped based on their number of Enrolled Hours.

|
If a student was registered for a lower number of credit hours than specified in a boundary and then increases his or her load to meet or exceed a boundary causing them to cross into the next range, then they will appear on the report. The same happens when a student's hours cross a boundary because of a decrease in their course load. |
Specify the boundaries starting in Hours Boundary 1 and proceed consecutively until you have defined your necessary boundaries. Do not leave any blank (zero) ones between legitimate boundaries.

If you have boundaries of 1, 9, and 12 hours, they should occupy the first three boundary slots. |
