Jenzabar recommends that you test your Charge Detail and Refund Detail before actually generating charges and applying them to subsidiary accounts. There are two ways to do this, each of which results in generating charges into a group of transactions that is suspended and will never be able to be applied to a student's account.
You can view preliminary charge transactions using A/R Inquiry. Look for entries that have a S uspended status and a source code of @C. They will never be posted and applied to the account. Practice charges also can be generated using a future date, or you can run the test.
