Some Admissions Offices are able to award certain types of scholarships of the organization to candidates. The Scholarships subtab on the Candidacy tab of the Maintain Candidacy window allows the Admissions Office to store this data.
Once the scholarship awards are entered, the data remains within the Admissions module. In other words, this data is not transferred electronically to PowerFAIDS, even though there is a Transferred to PF? checkbox on the subtab. If your organization wants to transfer scholarship awards information from the Admissions module to PowerFAIDS, you can extract the scholarship data from the Jenzabar J1 database into an appropriate format to be imported into PowerFAIDS for packaging and then create and run an UPDATE statement to mark the records (select the Transferred to PF? checkbox) so that they would not be exported more than one time.
