Required Prior Stage
This column is only available for the following Stage Levels: PREAPP, APPLCN,
PSTAPP, ACCEPT,
and PSTACC.
A stage selected in the Required Prior
Stage column on the Edit
Stage Configuration window indicates that the candidacy must have
been at the specified stage at least once prior to the stage change being
attempted.

If the Application
stage has a Required Prior Stage
of Inquiry, then the Candidacy
must have been in the Inquiry
stage at some point before the Candidacy is allowed to be put
into the Application stage.
If the Candidacy has never been at the Inquiry
stage, you will be prompted that you cannot move directly into
the selected stage. |
