Functions by Group Report

Use this window to generate a report that lists application groups and the functions to which each application group has access as well as the level of access. You can run the report for all groups, the groups you manage, or one specific group. You can also choose whether to display child function data along with the parent function data.

The customizable report allows J1 system administrators to view and maintain application groups and associated functions and access levels.

Columns

· To include all application groups, select the All option.

· To include only groups you manage, select the Groups I Manage option.

· To select a specific application group, choose the Select option and choose the application group from the drop-down list.

This checkbox displays child functions nested under the parent functions.

This drop-down allows you to select the report format you want to generate.

This option generates the report and allows you to preview it before printing.

This option automatically generates and prints the report.

How Do I...

1. Access the Functions by Group Report window.

2. From the Select an Application Group options, choose one of the following:

· To include all application groups, select the All option.

· To include only groups you manage, select the Groups I Manage option.

· To select a specific application group, choose the Select option and select the application group from the drop-down list.

3. To have the report display the child functions nested under the parent functions, select the Include Child Function Data checkbox.

Select the Include Child Function Data checkbox to display tab-level permissions indented under the corresponding window-level permissions.

4. From the Reports drop-down options, select the report.

5. Choose whether to preview before printing or immediately print the report.

6. Click OK. The report is generated.
