User group permissions take the highest security priority. If a user is not a member of the appropriate user group, they are unable to view or access various activity centers, activities, or windows. |
Use this window to add or remove users from a particular group. Group membership determines a user's permission to activity centers and related activities. When a user is assigned to a group, they automatically have access to the activity centers and activities to which the group has access.

A user may be a member of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable groups. The activities available to them are related to the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable group permissions. |

Your existing user groups are not modified with Jenzabar 4.0. The DSU/DDU automatically assigns all existing groups to default activity centers based on the functions to which the groups currently have access and the functions in the activity centers. |
