Group Membership Window

User group permissions take the highest security priority. If a user is not a member of the appropriate user group, they are unable to view or access various activity centers, activities, or windows.

Use this window to add or remove users from a particular group.  Group membership determines a user's permission to activity centers and related activities. When a user is assigned to a group, they automatically have access to the activity centers and activities to which the group has access.

A user may be a member of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable groups. The activities available to them are related to the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable group permissions.

Your existing user groups are not modified with Jenzabar 4.0. The DSU/DDU automatically assigns all existing groups to default activity centers based on the functions to which the groups currently have access and the functions in the activity centers.
