Functions Tab

Use this tab to grant or deny a user group access to available functions. The Allowed column displays all the functions or activities related to all the modules or activity centers to which the user group has a license and access. The Not Allowed column displays all the functions or activities to which the user group does not have access.

· If the View Only checkbox is not selected, the members of this group have full access to the function.

· If the View Only checkbox is selected, members of this group have view-only access to the function.

How To

1. Access the Group Definition window.

2. Select the user group for which you are granting permission to a function.

3. Click the Permissions button. The Group Permissions window appears.

4. Click the Functions tab. The Functions tab appears.

5. From the Not Allowed panel on the right-hand side, select the function to which you are granting the group access.

6. Click the Add Arrow button. The function is moved to the Allowed panel.

7. Click the OK button. The users in the user group now have access to the function.

1. Access the Group Definition window.

2. Select the user group from which you are removing permission to a function.

3. Click the Permissions button. The Group Permissions window appears.

4. Click the Functions tab. The Functions tab appears.

5. From the Allowed panel on the left-hand side, select the function from which you are removing the user group access.

6. Click the Remove Arrow button. The function is moved to the Not Allowed panel.

7. Click the OK button. The users in the user group no longer have access to the function.
