Registration Audit Window

This window allows you to launch an audit process that resets error flags on Student Course History for the checkboxes selected in the Include in Report group box (Prerequisite errors, Corequisite errors, Prohibited course errors, Repeat errors, Schedule Conflicts errors, and Waitlist errors). You can also view reports displaying information about the error flags.

When performing a Registration Audit from this window, a report with or without errors is displayed. An error can be one or more of the following, and you can select errors to be included in the report by selecting the appropriate checkboxes. You can also view reports displaying information about the selected error checkboxes.

Checks the Prerequisite Control table to determine if prerequisites exist. If so, has the course been taken and did the student earn the required grade on the Student Course History table?

Checks the Corequisite Control table to determine if corequisits exist. If so, has the course been taken and did the student earn the required grade on the Student Course History table?

Checks the Prohibited Control table to determine if the section is prohibited. If so, does the course have a status transaction other than 'W' or 'D'?

Based on the repeat flags in the Student Course History table.

Checks all Section Schedules for courses that have a status transaction other than 'W' or 'D.'

Checks the Student Course History table to see if the student has registered for the course but has been placed on a waitlist.

Registration Audit Report

The selected Registration Audit Report can be changed by clicking the Customize button.

How To

1. Click the Criteria radio button.

2. The Years and Terms, Subterms, Courses, Transcript Division, Grade Scale, and Credit Type options in the Criteria group become available.

3. Choose one of the Criteria options, and click the Change button.

4. The Select Report Criteria window is displayed. Drag the desired additional criteria from the Available pane of the window to the Selected pane (or use the Add and Remove buttons).

5. Click the Populate Query Results button to retrieve and list the students who meet the selected criteria in the Selected Items pane. You may also enter a student ID Number, and click on the Add Student button to include this student.

6. Click the Preview button to view the audit report.

7. You may choose to Print the report and verify its data before clicking the Process button, which will update the error flags on the Student Course History table based on the records for the selected student(s).

1. Click the Query radio button.

2. You may choose the Original query (selects all students who have registered for courses in the current year and term) or click on the Customize button to modify the query. You may also enter a student ID Number and click on the Add Student button to include this student in the query.

3. Click on the Populate Query Results button and a listing of all students who meet the criteria selected will be displayed in the Selected Items pane.

4. Click the View Criteria button to display the criteria used.

5. Click the View Query SQL to view the SQL statement for the query.

6. You may choose to Print the report and verify its data before clicking the Process button, which will update the error flags on the Student Course History table based on the records for the student(s) selected.
