Use the NSC Enrollment Status window to set up enrollment status codes to use for the NSC enrollment statuses. You must enter values in this window even if your codes are the same as the NSC statuses, and you must provide an entry for every NSC enrollment status. In addition, if you use any different enrollment categories, those must be translated into NSC statuses as well.
NSC defines the following enrollment status codes in their Programming and Testing Procedures document.

Jenzabar recommends that you use the suggested codes in the list above since these are the codes that are used for the enrollment statuses in the transmittal files. However, you may want to use codes or categories different from those provided by NSC. In one possible scenario, you might want to use the enrollment statuses to produce InfoMaker reports for purposes other than generating NSC reports. For instance, you might want to generate a report that distinguishes between students who have been expelled and those who have voluntarily withdrawn from school. In that case, you could set up two codes, X and W, both of which would correspond to the NSC's Withdrawn status.
