This optional value is used to define the kind of sessions used in the Student Life module. Session Type codes can be up to three (3) alphanumeric characters. Type in or select from the drop-down list the type of the new session being created.
If you selected or specified a session in the Copy To Session column that already exists, then the session's Type is displayed in this column.
To add or edit a session type code, right-click on the Session Type column, and select Maintenance Screen... This opens the Session Type Definition window. Adding a session type to this window makes it available in the drop-down on the session definition window.
