The Save As icon on the toolbar of all windows allows you to save information from any data window into another source if you have Tasklist permission to this option. If the Save As icon is not functioning for a particular window, the data window is not currently designed to allow data to be saved from that window.

The General Ledger (GL) module has transactions sorted by groups. Each group includes the amount of the transaction, the account number, description, and date of transaction. You may want to take a group of student charges for a particular day and manipulate the data in a spreadsheet for other purposes. While the data window is active, you can choose to Save Rows As, which will produce a smaller window in which you can select the directory, name, and file type for this data. |
Due to the need for producing electronic files, primarily in the Human Resources module, the SSN security check allows users who can see the entire SSN on the window (i.e., the SSN is not masked for the user) to save SSN to the file when performing the Save As function. For any users where the data is masked in some way, the SSN will not be saved to the file.
