If you choose Yes for this column on the Enter Override/Course Substitution window, you are indicating that a course requirement has been met by another course, by a life experience, or by a specific activity.

When you apply a waiver, the system needs the additional indication that the requirement is also met.

With a substitution, you are expecting the academic information to determine whether or not a requirement is met. There are times when applying a substitution where the hours may not meet the minimum needed. In this case, in addition to applying the substitution, you would indicate that the requirement was met.
