Held Stage

You cannot move candidates to this model stage unless they are previously at an application stage. This stage allows a candidate's application to be held and prevents it from becoming pending. If your organization is using Automatic Acceptance, this is particularly helpful to prevent the processing of a candidate for acceptance or rejection.

If you see that a candidate will be rejected for some reason and you do not want that to happen, place an H flag on a requirement. At a later time, you can take the hold flag off and processing will move the candidate to a pending stage. If one or more requirements have an H in the Hold/Release column of the requirements and processing occurs, the candidate can be moved to this stage and will remain there until no more H's appear on any requirements.
