A database is an electronic filing system, i.e., a collection of information organized in such a way that computer program can quickly select desired pieces of data.
The J1 database is organized by columns, rows, and tables. A column is a single piece of information; a row is one complete set of columns; and a table is a collection of rows.
The J1 database is also an integrated database, which means that each piece of data is stored in one location and that each office can access that data as needed.
