This tab on the Year Term Subterm Definition window allows your institution to set add/drop dates that allow advisors to add and/or drop courses for their advisees after the add/drop period for the student has expired. Therefore, these dates are different from the add/drop period the advisee will see when the advisee logs in. The add/drop period defined on this tab allows advisors to work with a student's registration records after the student can no longer add/drop courses.
When you select a Year/Term row on the Year/Term tab of the Year Term Subterm Definition window, the Year, Term, Census Date, First Web Add/Drop Date, and Last Web Add/Drop Date for that row displays in the header of this tab.
The following values entered on this tab are stored in the Add Drop Period Override table, which stores start and end dates for adding/dropping courses for a defined year/term/subterm:
