VA Benefits Program definitions can also be managed in J1 Web, Core, Campus-wide Definitions. Definitions created and updated in Desktop will appear in J1 Web and definitions created and updated in J1 Web will appear in the Desktop. Use this window to define the VA educational benefit program codes that a student may receive from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The VA benefit program codes appear in any window that captures a student's involvement in a veteran benefit program as a part of their military service details (for example, on the Name Entity window | Biograph tab | Military Service subtab).
You can make benefit codes active or inactive, and you can add, delete, and insert rows. You can also change the order in which the values appear in the VA drop-down list.
