This window allows you to view or modify NSC Registration Transaction rows for an individual student. You can edit records already created by the Update PT/FT Hours and Status option and determine if a student's status has changed since the last NSC report.
This editing step allows you to revise data (view, add, change, or delete all or selected records) that has been created by J1.
|
If you know that a student withdrew from classes earlier than the drop date logged on the course records, you may want to adjust the Status Start Date. |
If you enter or change data, J1 validates each date entry in a date-valid format and checks for valid values for status code entries but not for reasonability or logic. This is the final editing place for Registration Transaction rows prior to generating a new NSC report.
The NSC Registration Transactions table holds all of each student's records. If you enter the student's ID Number or perform an Advanced Search, all the transactions for the student will display. If you change a status date, you may have to delete some earlier records with the same status code to make sure your updated record is the one used in the report process.
The report function reads data using the following sequential format:
· The NSC Student Data Record Special Status and Date are used if values are found.
· If no values are found on the NSC Student Data Record, then the most recent NSC Registration Transaction record for each student (latest date within a year/term) is located.
· Data is read in descending date order through all the records for the students that have the same status code.
· The status date used is pulled from the most recent record. If multiple records are found because multiple years and terms are involved, then the record with the highest status is used.
The Year and Term columns are not editable, but the remaining columns on the window are editable for each student.
