Tuition Status Definition

Use this window to define a student's tuition status. The entries defined here appear under Tuition Status on the Financial sub-tab of the Student tab on the Student Information window.

Columns

Enter a code (up to ten alpha-numeric characters) for the tuition status.

Enter a description for the tuition status.

Enter the number (in relation to other entries) corresponding to the order in which the entry should appear in the drop-down list, if needed.

· To activate the tuition status, select the checkbox.

· To deactivate the tuition status, deselect the checkbox.

How To

1. Access the Tuition Status Definition window.

2. Select Add Row or Insert Row from the right-click or Options menu.

3. Enter a Code (up to ten alpha-numeric characters) for the tuition status.

4. Enter a Description for the tuition status.

5. If needed, enter the Display Order: The number (in relation to other entries) corresponding to the order in which the entry should appear in the drop-down list.

6. Determine if the new tuition status is active.

· To activate the tuition status, select the Active checkbox.

· To deactivate the tuition status, deselect the Active checkbox.

7. Save.

1. Access the Tuition Status Definition window.

2. Locate the entry you wish to update.

3. Edit the alpha-numeric Code, if necessary.

4. Edit the tuition status Description, if necessary.

5. Update the Display Order, if necessary.

6. To activate the tuition status, select the Active checkbox.

7. To deactivate the tuition status, deselect the Active checkbox.

8. Save.

2. Locate the entry you wish to activate.

3. Select the Active checkbox.

4. Save.

2. Locate the entry you wish to deactivate.

3. Deselect the Active checkbox.

4. Save.

If you need to remove a tuition status temporarily, you can deactivate it (by deselecting the Active checkbox) instead of deleting it. Deleting the row will remove it permanently.

1. Access the Tuition Status Definition window.

2. Locate the entry you wish to delete.

3. Select Delete Row from the right-click or Options menu.

4. Save.
