You can use the User Preferences window to change how J1 Desktop displays the date and time and the Select Date and Time Format Masks window to select a valid mask.
All visible Date and Time values in J1 Desktop are displayed in the format (mask) selected in the Regional Settings on the machine you are using in the following instances:
· Application messages
· Data windows
· Report header/footer
· Computed columns in data windows/reports
· Text appearing on any window/report
· Values of date and/or time passed to SQL statements
· campus portal (JICS) C# Plugin and VB COM code
· Triggers/Stored Procedures
· Additional Reports
· Forms
· Customizable report PBLs for campus portal (JICS)
This Regional setting format is not used in the following instances in J1 Desktop:
· Internal date and time comparisons
· Values of date and time stored in the database
· Government/Federal reports (NSC, IPEDS, etc.)
· Bank files (electronic data sent to banks)
