This code (uppercase letters only) can be up to 15 alphanumeric characters and defines a group of students.

This text description of the Subset Code can be up to 80 alphanumeric characters.

This code can be made 'Active' (select checkbox) or 'Inactive' (clear checkbox). Only 'Active' codes are available for selection on the Data Collection Subset window.

1.    On the Subset Definition window, right-click and choose Add Row.

2.    Type the code in the Subset Code column.

3.    Type the description for the subset code in the Subset Description column.

4.    Select the Active checkbox if it is to be a code that can be used or clear the checkbox to make it inactive.

5.    Save.

 

You cannot modify the name of the Subset Code.

1.    On the Subset Definition window, locate the subset code for which you want to modify the description and/or whether it is active/inactive.

2.    Make the appropriate modifications.

3.    Save.

 

A subset code cannot be deleted if dependent data exists. In order to delete the code, you must clear the dependent data.

1.    On the Subset Definition window, locate the subset code that you want to delete.

2.    Right-click on the row, and choose Delete Row.

3.    Save.
