Modify the Start and End Dates for New FERPA Records?This window allows you to modify the Start and End Dates for New FERPA Records displayed on the FERPA Permissions window. You can save a Start Date without an End Date.
You can enter new dates in the Start Date and/or End Date columns. Also, you can build these dates by selecting one or more terms or all terms that represent an academic year. If you select one or more terms, the Start Date is the earliest start date of the selected Year/Terms and the End Date is the latest end date of the selected Year/Term row(s).
The OK button returns the newly entered or selected dates to the FERPA Permissions window.
If you have permissions, the Save Configuration Dates button saves the entered/selected dates to the Configuration Table as default dates for all users. These dates default to the FERPA Permissions window when you close and open it again. If you have selected a new Start or End Date and have not used the Save Configuration Dates button, the newly selected dates are returned to the FERPA Permissions window and are available only as long as the FERPA Permissions window remains open.
