Student Advising Alterations Report Window

When the approval track functionality has been configured in the Maintain Configuration Table window, this window is used by the Administrator to review and approve any alterations that have been made by an advisor.

You must save data on each tab before moving to another tab or closing the window. When you save, you may receive one of the following messages along with an OK button:

"The Met by Code requires reference but the requirement is not a C or CC requirement."

Alterations Tab

The Search By group box allows you to enter any of the following search criteria to populate the advisee grid.

The Find Now button activates the search, and the New Search button clears the previous search results. The Print button prints the report as specified on the Report Setup tab.

When you click the Find Now button after the selection criteria have been entered, the student rows that meet the criteria are displayed:

Select one of the rows to enable the Alteration Detail tab.

Alteration Detail Tab

Selecting one of the rows on the Alterations tab activates the Alteration Detail tab.

The Student/Aim group box contains read-only data from the requirement selected on the Alterations tab.

The Requirement Being Altered group box contains read-only data from the requirement selected on the Alterations tab.

The Met By group box contains the same information that was entered by the Advisor on the Enter Overrides or Course Substitution window. However, the Administrator has the ability to edit the several columns and then approve the alteration from this location.

Select button to open the Grade Lookup window listing all valid grades that have been defined on the Grade Table in the Registration module.

Select button to open the Student Progress window to view all of the student's requirements or only those that remain to be met.

Select button to preview or print the report as specified on the Report Setup tab.

Report Setup Tab

This tab is used to specify the report to be used and the print mode to be used when the Print button is selected on either the Alterations or Alteration Detail tabs.
