A/R Balances and Dates

The Subsidiary Master table rows contain a number of balances and dates that reflect the transactions in the system. In the table below, these balances are summarized. The Calculation column shows the transaction status codes that contribute to each balance.

The Period Beginning Balance will be the beginning balance on the next statement run. The Statement Balance reflects the ending balance from the last statement run.

Transaction status codes determine the different A/R Subsidiary Master balances, and each balance is used differently in the Accounts Receivable module. In addition, the Subsidiary Master row contains several dates and balances that are important. A summary of these Subsidiary Master dates and balances is below.

History Beginning Date

Reflects the date the history balance was updated. The aging report uses this column to determine the age of an outstanding history balance.

Period Beginning Date

Reflects the latest date that C and Y transactions were moved to history H.

Used to calculate the finance charge. Reflects the date of the last statement run.
