Introduction to the Human Resources Module

The Human Resources module allows you to define certain items unique to your organization that are used in both Payroll (PA) and Personnel (PE) modules. The benefits that your organization offers its employees are defined in the HR module. You can modify or access these from both PA and PE modules; however, they are common to the two. You can define the broad categories or Groups and Subgroups of employees at your organization. These are used to control payroll runs and define security access to HR information on the system.  A small subset of the benefits defined in the HR module is Accrual Benefits. This includes those items such as vacation, personal, or sick time that accumulate time at a certain rate per hour worked.
