A company may have a matching policy for active employees (EMPLOY) and one for retirees (RETIRE).
This required code identifies the program or group of sub-policies defined by the company under which policies exist. The alphanumeric code can be up to six (6) characters long.

On the Maintain Matching Gift Policies window, the Policy Name is a drop-down list of pre-defined policy codes for the indicated company. The list defaults to the first policy in the list. You cannot use this window to enter a new policy code. You must click the Add Policy button in this window to create a new policy name.
