The Council for Aid to Education (CAE) is a national nonprofit organization focused on improving quality and access in higher education. CAE also is the nation's sole source of empirical data on private giving to education, through the annual Voluntary Support of Education (VSE) survey and its Data Miner interactive database.
CAE created a performance-based assessment model and developed direct measures of quality that university administrators, faculty, students, parents, employers, and policy makers can use as part of their evaluation of academic programs.
Indicate the section of the CAE report into which gifts assigned this category will be totaled. Select the group from the drop-down list (examples). When you select an item from the drop-down list, the line number is also retrieved in the CFAE Line Num column.
This column indicates the specific line in the report in which this category will be included. This is indicated when you select a value from the drop-down list in the CFAE Group column.
