Items Table

 

The Items table is updated every time the Daily Procedure is run. The Daily Procedure drives across the Items table and looks for all rows that have a date less than or equal to the date specified in the Daily Procedure Start Date prompt. When the Daily Procedure finds an Action List row, it looks to see if the next sequential action from that list needs to be created. When an action list is added to a row, it creates an action row on the Items table.

The Items table contains a row for all items that can be entered on a person's Notepad. Before items can be entered into the Items table, they must either be a note or defined on the Action table, Action List table, Action List Definition table, Event Master table, or Event Schedule table.

When the Update Notepad checkbox is selected on the Merge Document Definition window, a row is inserted in the Items table with the value of MERGED in the ACTION_CODE column. The description will be "Document Merged: <name of document>," for example, "Document Merged: MergeLetter.doc."
