Information window.
This window allows you to associate a student with various types of identifiers defined in the Identifier Types window.
Jenzabar provides an Identifier Type of 'STSTU' to be associated to students in reporting to NSC and 'JRM' to use in processing internet submissions created from imported Jenzabar Recruitment Manager (JRM) data.

Associate
an Identifier Type with a Student?
Be sure you have defined the appropriate identifier types in the Identifier Types window.
Open the Alternate Identifiers window.
In the header, enter an ID Number and/or choose an Identifier Type from the drop-down list.
Click the Retrieve button.
If you entered an ID Number, the detail rows are populated with Identifier Types associated with that ID Number.
If you chose an Identifier Type, the detail rows are populated with ID Numbers associated with that Identifier Type.
If you chose both an ID Number and Identifier Type, the detail rows are populated for the selected ID Number and Identifier Type.
To add or insert a row:
Choose Add Row or Insert Row from the right-click menu.
Fill in/Select appropriate values for the ID Number, Identifier, Begin Date, and End Date for an Identifier Type or Identifier Type, Identifier, Begin Date, and End Date for an ID Number.

If a filtering value is selected, that value defaults in for new rows. However, you can select another value if desired. |
Save.
If there is an exact match of Start Date and End Date between a new row and an existing row for the ID Number and Identifier Type, a message is displayed stating this fact. You must remove one of the duplicate rows.
If there is an overlap of Start Date and End Date with an existing row for the ID Number and Identifier Type, a message is displayed stating this fact. You must make changes as needed to ensure that the start date for a row with a specified identifier type is after the end date of any existing row with the same identifier type.
To delete a row:
Highlight the row to be deleted.
Choose Delete Row from the right-click menu.
Save.
