Search/Sort is a global function that is available on a majority of windows. The window usually has multiple rows (resembles a spreadsheet), and the search/sort row usually appears at the top of the window. The background of this row is dark gray and includes the column headings of columns to which this function can be applied.
Search/Sort labels can be modified by selecting the ELITE PAINT option in the right-click menu when the cursor is in a Search/Sort row on a grid window.
If you enter criteria in the columns of the search/sort row, the rows matching those criteria will be displayed in the window. If you enter criteria in all columns of the search/sort row, the matched row will be selected. If no exact match is found, the first nearest matched row will be selected.
The following options are available if you right-click on the column heading or the row of the Search/Sort object. If any of these options are on, a check mark is displayed to the left of the option.
