This window is used to associate an ID Number with an organization code (CEEB, FICE, IPEDS, etc.) so that an organization can be tracked in the database. Typically, the organization code is predefined and is used to specify a particular college or institution.
If you attempt to delete a row from the Organization Master table, the row can be deleted if there are no dependent data; however, you cannot delete a row if associated dependent data exist.
When you highlight a row, you can choose Maintain Organization Master Organization Codes from the right-click menu.
At the bottom of the window are the following buttons:
· The Name Entity button opens the selected organization in the Name Entity window where you can view or edit that organization's details.
· The Add Name button opens the Name Entity window where you can add individuals or organizations.
· The Add Address button opens the Maintain Address window where you can add addresses or change existing ones.
· The User Defined button opens the available and assigned user-defined columns available for the Organization Master table.
· The Maintain Organization Master Organization Codes button opens the Maintain Organization Master Organization Codes window for the highlighted row.
· The Maintain OPE Codes button opens the Maintain OPE Codes window for the selected ID Number.
