The Student Term Summary table contains one row per student per year and term. This table exists primarily to record the part-time/full-time status of each student for each year and term. The totals on this table reflect all of the courses that the student took in the term (this information can be used to analyze enrollment and attrition). J1 generates a Student Term Summary row when you register or pre-register a student for a year and term.
When possible, use the Student Term Summary by Division table or the Student Term Summary table for your columns. These tables contain snapshots of the students data at the time of the term. Therefore, if you must rerun the classification update or the academic standing update for a previous term, the programs will use the students information at the time the term ended and the update will be accurate.
This table contains term summaries of student data for all divisions combined. You should use this table if you need term part-time/full-time information. The program accesses the students information for the year and term you specify.
