Repeat

This column indicates if the repeated course has been marked as "forgiven" or "repeated."

When a student is registered for a course for which the student has previously registered, J1 places an "R" in the Repeat column. When the student receives a grade and the academic record is recalculated, J1 determines which courses are forgiven (*) and which courses are the repeat courses ("R"). The graded course flagged with an "R" is the one that contributes to the student's GPA in a term and all following terms. If a course is marked with an "X" in the Repeat column, this indicates the course is repeated but has a grade that excludes it from the repeat process that marks repeated courses with an "R" or "*".

Transfer Entry Window

If the course row on this window has already been saved, the Repeat value from the Student Course History table is displayed. When entering new course rows on the Transfer Entry window, you can choose one of three values in the Repeat column:

Forgiven (same as * described above)

Repeat (same as R described above)

None (same as X described above)
