A giving club is an entity that can track giving for donors and place them into the appropriate club and level within a club. The giving club code (examples), which is defined on the Giving Club Definition window, identifies the club and can be up to five characters long. The table below lists some examples of giving clubs:
Giving clubs can have be manually entered or set during Gift Entry and can be one of three different Credit Types:
Once the basic giving clubs are defined, you can establish levels of giving within a club. Based on the levels you set up, donors in that club will be classified automatically. Giving club levels are defined using the Levels tab on the Giving Club Detail window. After locating a giving club on the Giving Club Definition window, double-click on it or choose Edit giving Club Definition from the right-click or Options menu to open the Giving Club Detail window.
