This checkbox appears on several windows.
On the Maintain Address window, it applies to email notification. It is available if the Email checkbox is selected.
If you select this checkbox, this email address allows the J1 Desktop user to receive notifications that a scheduled process is completed.
Even if a J1 Desktop user is assigned to a notification group, the user will not receive a J1 Desktop email notification unless this checkbox is selected.
On the Users window, it applies to application alerts.
