Address Priority Code

If you are working in the Transcript window in Registration, the address priority codes are stored in the Registry, not in the Address Priority table.

This editable column on the Maintain Address Priority window allows you to define a priority code by adding a row and entering the new code. This code can be as many as 15 characters in length and will be available for use in all modules.

After the priority code has been defined, you can associate any of the available address codes to be associated with the priority in the Maintain Address Priority window.

Address Priority Code Example

If you create an address priority code of SEVIS, you might have the system search for an address code for each ID Number using the following priority list:

*LHP

*EML

*WRK

When you use this address priority code, the system will search first for the *LHP address code. If none is found, it then searches for the *EML address code. It continues to search using the priority list until it finds an available address code to use for that ID Number.
