Activity

Activities can be linked to courses only through the Courses (Non-Traditional) window.

An event is defined as an occurrence, and an activity is defined as something that happens during an event. An event may have many activities as components.

 

Registration, reception, and campus tour are activities that might occur as part of a campus visitation event.

 For each event and each activity within an event, you may set goals for revenue and expense amounts and number of attendees. Each activity can have a fee attached. Based on the number of attendees, you can track how much revenue was realized for each activity and for the event. Also, you can track the number of inquiries, applications, and/or students associated with a given activity or event.

The main event is defined in the top half of the Events window. One or more activities included as part of this event is defined in the bottom half of the Events window.
