Access Level

Access Level is used on the Function Security, Module Security, and TaskList Security tables.  If there is no row in the Function Security table for tabs/objects within a window, the tabs/objects will have access based on the Access Level of the window.

·       If a user is listed in the table and the View Only checkbox is not selected, the user has full access.

·       If a user is listed in the table and the View Only checkbox is selected, the user can only view and search/sort.

This security process checks the Access Level row in the Function Security table for each window. If the Access Level is none, the user cannot access the window. If the Access Level is full or read-only access, then each tab/object will be checked for its individual access rights.

·       If a function is moved from the Not Allowed group box to the Allowed group box, the Access Level column value will default to full access.

·       If a row does not exist for a combination of a function and a group, then there is no access granted.
