Priority

This number indicates the student's preference for their room choice. The lowest number represents the student's first choice.

If a student has three rooms they would like, you can enter their first choice as 3, the second choice as 7, and the third choice as 10.

When you save the information, J1 reassigns these numbers starting with 1 and ascending in order to take out any gaps between numbers. This is for reporting purposes since some reports specifically look for room priorities 1, 2, and 3.  Using the example above where you numbered the room priorities as 3, 7, and 10, they will be reassigned 1, 2, and 3 respectively.
