If you want to define multiple statuses to use for printed and electronic transcript requests that have been completed, create a status reason for each. In one row, enter "Printed" for the Description and "Completed" for the Trans Request Status. In the other row, enter "ETrans Generated" for the Description and "Completed" for the Trans Request Status.

1.    From the Transcript Request Status Definition window, right-click on the status for which you want to define a reason and select Transcript Request Status Reason Definition. The Transcript Request Status Reason Definition window appears.

2.    To add a new status reason, select Add Row from the right-click or Options menu.

You can also make updates to existing status reasons that you have created. You cannot change the Description of the default data rows.

3.    Enter the reason for the status in the Description column.

4.    Select the status from the Trans Request Status drop-down list.

5.    To designate the order in which this status reason appears in the Status drop-down list, update the number in the Display Order column (you may need to update numbers for other status reasons).

6.    To activate the status reason, make sure the Active? checkbox is selected.

7.    To have the status reason appear in the Status drop-down list on the Transcript Requests window, make sure the Display in Dropdown? checkbox is selected.

To keep the value from appearing in the drop-down list, you must first deactivate it by deselecting the Active? checkbox.

8.    Click Save on the tool bar.
