Soft Credit Constituency Code

The soft credit ID Number must have a constituency code before a gift will be accepted. When you accept a gift, the soft credit ID Number should have a default constituency code. If, for some reason, there is no default constituency code, the following message will display: "You must have a Constituency Code. Edit Transaction and choose a relationship."

When you open the Gift Transaction Details window (right-click on a transaction in the Gift Data Entry window, and choose Edit Tran Details), the cursor is in the Constituency Code column. Choose the appropriate constituency code from the drop-down list. The constituency code will default back to the Gift Data Entry window.
