Because reports are sent to INS on a timely basis, this date groups those records that need to be reported. Once the records are reported, a row is created in the SEVIS History tables for each ID Number reported for that date. The current date defaults to this column, but it is editable.
Note in the following example that there can be multiple rows for each ID Number, depending on the report dates. For example, History tables may have the following rows:
