Import Data Into J1 Window

Use this window to import large amounts of information. The window's generic design allows you to import a wide variety of data documents.

In the import window, you select an Import Profile, select the files to import, and either import the files manually or schedule the import.

Scheduling Imports

You can import files manually in real time, or you can use the Schedule... button to set up when imports happen. The Process Schedule window opens.

In scheduled imports, the process always loads all files in the Main folder, even if you did not select all files.

How To

1. Confirm that the system administrator has set up profiles on the Configure Import Profiles window.

2. Open the Import Data Into J1 window.

3. Select the appropriate profile from the Import Profile from the drop-down list.

4. Select the Main Folder or Archive Folder radio button.
The file path field may be populated by selections in the Configure Import Profiles window. If not, enter the file path for both the Main and Archive folders.

The Main folder is for processing new files. The Archive folder is for storing files and for reprocessing them as necessary. Be careful not to inadvertently reprocess files in the Archive folder.

5. The data window fills with the files in the select file path. Select individual files or click Select All Files.

6. Click Import File(s) to import the files manually now, or click the Schedule... button to schedule imports.

7. Open the Process Internet Submissions window.

8. Use the filters to help find the submission.

9. Select the submission and click the Process button.

The imported file is automatically moved from the Main folder to the Archive folder. This helps prevent reprocessing imported files.
